Requirements
Serve our community by applying to become a member of the Citizens' Independent Transportation Trust (Transportation Trust), a board created to oversee spending of the half-penny transportation surtax and implementation of the projects in the People's Transportation Plan (PTP).
Selection Processes
The ordinance creating the Citizens' Independent Transportation Trust (Transportation Trust) also defines the manner by which members are nominated and approved. The Nominating Committee is in charge of the selection process and it is comprised of representatives of the geographical, ethnic, racial and gender makeup of Miami-Dade County.
