The Citizens' Independent Transportation Trust (CITT) invites you to join us for the 2027 CITT Mobility Summit. Featuring the CITT Ambassador of the Year Award, CITT Mobility Matters Awards, keynote speeches, live podcasts and more, this half-day summit will bring together transportation leaders shaping the future of mobility in Miami-Dade County.

2027 CITT Mobility Matters Awards

Help us recognize the people, projects and programs making an impact on transportation and mobility across Miami-Dade County. The 2027 CITT Mobility Matters Awards honor public awareness, innovation, investment and leadership shaping our transit future.

Nominations are open to community advocates, nonprofit leaders, transportation professionals, organizations, projects and programs. Self-nominations and organizational nominations are welcome.

Award categories

• Trailblazer Award: Recognizes an organization that has helped lead forward, overcome barriers or created new possibilities for transportation and mobility in our community.

• Unsung Hero: Recognizes an individual, such as an activist, nonprofit professional or community advocate, whose dedication has made a meaningful difference in transportation or transit, even if their work does not always receive public attention.

• Innovation & Impact Award: Recognizes an organization, project or program that has introduced an innovative solution, service, technology or approach yielding measurable positive outcomes.

• Onward & Upward Award: Recognizes service providers demonstrating continued progress, strong momentum and a commitment to improving transit service, accessibility or connectivity.
