Hurricane Irma

As we continue our recovery and cleanup efforts, please visit the Emergency website for the latest information on openings and closings in Miami-Dade County.

Graceland

Graceland

Description: Shallow first reef with natural ledge (2 to 3 feet of relief). Nurse sharks are frequently found sleeping under this ledge. The threatened Staghorn coral is present at this site, as well as numerous other large hard corals, gorgonians and sponges. Fish are also abundant.

Depth: 14 to 20 feet

Number of Buoys: Six

Sponsors: One buoy at the site has been sponsored by Travalco. The other five buoys still need sponsors. Funding is needed for periodical maintenance to ensure they are in good condition for boaters to use in order to protect our reefs. Please consider supporting the Mooring Buoy Program by adopting a buoy!
