Small Business Enterprise Advisory Board - Goods and Services

The Small Business Enterprise Advisory Board – Goods and Services was created for the purpose of supporting and promoting the Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Goods and Services (G&S) programs. The advisory board will operate as a focal point for the public and, with the assistance of the County mayor or designee, will collect, input and disseminate information related to economic opportunities within Miami-Dade County government for SBE G&S business owners. The advisory board was established for the purpose of supporting and promoting the Small Business Enterprise Programs.

The term of the mayoral appointees and that of each commissioner shall be coterminous with the term of the appointing mayor and commissioner, respectively. In no event shall a G&S advisory board member serve more than four consecutive years. Members shall serve without compensation. Support staff is provided by SBD.

Meetings are held every two months on the third Thursday, as scheduled on the County calendar.

The SBE-G&S Advisory Board shall consist of 15 members, as follows:

  • Two members to be appointed by the mayor's office
  • One member to be appointed by each County commissioner
