Noches Tropicales

The 2015-2016 Stars at the Park Noches Tropicales™ concert series kicks off with a Gala opening Latin Jazz concert featuring The Miami Big Sound Orchestra, with Music Director Pete Francis, on Oct. 16 at 8 p.m., located at the Miami-Dade County Auditorium, 2901 West Flagler Street. Admission is free and space is limited; six tickets per person.

The Gala opening concert is sponsored by Target, Bacardi, Miami-Dade County, and the Parks Foundation of Miami-Dade.

All Star Concert Series

All concerts will be held at Tropical Park. Admission is FREE.

  • American Grammy Winner Marlow Rosado and La Riqueña Band
    Dec. 4 at 8 p.m.
  • Latin Jazz ALL-STARS, with Music Director Jose Negroni
    Feb. 12, 2016 at 8 p.m.
  • Conjunto Progreso (Salsa Tropical)
    April 1, 2016 at 8 p.m.

About Stars at the Park Noches Tropicales™

Stars at the Park Noches Tropicales™ is produced each year by Miami-Dade Parks to bring communities closer together through the presentation of culturally diverse entertainment that is free and enjoyable for families. 

Now in its tenth year, Stars at the Park Noches Tropicales™, inaugurated by Miami-Dade County Commissioner, Sen. Javier D. Souto, has showcased a variety of evening concerts at Tropical Park that have included traditional Cuban contemporary music and zarzuelas, Argentinean tango, Brazilian Jazz, and a Spanish-language version of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, among others.
