How do I record a document with the Clerk of the Court and Comptroller?

The Clerk of the Court and Comptroller's County Recorder is the official recorder of all instruments that may, by law, be recorded in the county.

Documents include, but are not limited to:

  • Deeds
  • Mortgages
  • Liens
  • Powers of attorney
  • Financial statements
Fees, mortgage taxes and real estate transfer taxes are computed and collected at the time of recordation.
