Vote safely, vote by mail

Miami-Dade Elections is taking every necessary precaution to protect the health and safety of voters, but some may feel apprehensive about going to their polling place to vote during the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, voters are encouraged to vote by mail from the safety and comfort of their home. Request a vote-by-mail ballot by going to the Elections Department's Vote-by-Mail Ballot page and completing the form online. If you prefer, you can print the Vote-by-Mail Ballot Request Form (English/Español or English/Kreyòl) and after filling it out, mail it to the Elections Department. You can also call 305-499-8444 and request a Vote-by-Mail Ballot Request Form.

When you finally receive your vote-by-mail ballot, vote like you normally would, then sign the envelope and mail it to the Department (postage is paid). You can also drop it off at any Early Voting location or the Elections Department main office. Make sure your most recent signature is on file with the department, because your signature is used to validate your vote-by-mail ballot.
