Represent our valued democracy by becoming a proud poll worker

Miami-Dade County is looking for civically-engaged residents who want to ensure the vital democratic process of voting for fall 2021 municipal elections. And you'll get paid, too!

As a poll worker, you will greet and check in voters, distribute ballots on election day, and make sure every vote is counted. Training is provided.

Requirements

• Be a registered voter in Miami-Dade County
• Be able to read and write English
• Attend mandatory training prior to each election
• Have excellent customer service skills
• Be respectful of all voters
• Represent Miami-Dade County in a professional manner
• Be able to work long hours
• Remain nonpartisan while at the polls
• Have transportation to and from the polls
• Have a valid email address

Poll workers are compensated for their time based on position in accordance with the poll worker payment schedule.
