Celebrate the 4th of July with a Bang at Tropical Park

Gather your family, invite your friends, and head to Miami-Dade Parks’ annual July 4th Spectacular, in partnership with Univision, for an unforgettable evening of fun and community spirit celebrating the nation’s birthday and Park and Recreation Month, on July 4 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Tropical Park. This free event brings together everything that makes summer in Miami-Dade special—great music, delicious food, spectacular fireworks, and the people you love most.
Tropical Park will come alive with energy and excitement as guests will enjoy live musical performances, provided by Univision, as well as Univision on-air talent entertaining fans throughout the evening; dance to live DJs, and explore a variety of food trucks offering something for every taste. Kids and families will have a blast in the Family Fun Zone, while everyone can stay refreshed at conveniently placed hydration stations. Throughout the event, attendees can also look forward to exciting giveaways and prizes.
As the sun sets, gather lakeside for the grand finale—a dazzling fireworks show that will light up the night sky in celebration of the nation’s birthday, liberty, resilience and the strong bonds that tie our community together.
Tropical Park is located at 7900 SW 40th Street in Miami. Please use the Bird Road entrance, as Miller Road will be closed for the event. Parking is limited, so plan to arrive early, and consider carpooling or using a ride-share service to the designated drop-off area at 82nd Avenue and 48th Street.
Guests are encouraged to bring reusable water bottles, picnic blankets, and chairs to make the most of this festive evening. Please note that pets, personal fireworks, and tents or umbrellas within the park’s central area are not permitted. The Tropical Park dog park will be closed for the day.
Don’t miss this exciting kick-off to Parks & Recreation Month—a celebration of everything that brings us together. Live a park life with Miami-Dade Parks.
