Summer Camp: Leaders in Training (LIT) (Ages 14-15)

• Teamwork, Responsibility, Handling Conflicts, Problem Solving, Innovation and Goal Setting
• Planning, Designing, and Running Special Events for the younger campers, such as Water Carnivals, Beach Parties and Challenge Courses

• Archery and Riflery
• Swimming, Water Slide and Slip-n-Slide
• Sports and Games

LITs will be responsible for imagining, planning and hosting a special event for younger campers, as well as keeping a notebook for weekly goals, notes, ideas and thoughts.

There will be daily briefings and debriefings, as well as teambuilding activities such as archery, air riflery, swimming, waterslide and other large group activities.

• Session 1 - June 9-20: Goal Planning and Setting, Effective Leadership and Leadership Styles
• Session 2 - June 23 – July 3: Ready, Set, Communicate!
• Session 3 - July 7-18: Conflict Resolution as a growing leader, relationship building and the importance of being respected
• Session 4 - July 21 – August 1: Practical Applications of leadership skills, becoming a strong leader and using learned skills in real-life scenarios
