On Tuesday, October 10, at 9 a.m., Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava will lead the official ribbon cutting ceremony for six new dedicated pickleball courts at Tamiami Park. The mayor will be joined by Miami-Dade County District 11 Commissioner Roberto Gonzalez, Miami-Dade County Parks Director Maria I. Nardi, members of the local pickleball community, and park neighbors.
“I’m very proud of our Parks Department for always making sure our green and open spaces are up to date and ready to accommodate our community’s changing needs,” said County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava. “These new courts are a great addition to our wonderful parks system and will add even more quality of life for residents who love playing this popular sport.”
