Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava to participate at 2024 Aspen Ideas: Climate
For the third year in a row, Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava will participate in the annual Aspen Ideas: Climate conference in Miami Beach on March 11-13. Alongside U.S. Department of the Interior Secretary Deb Haaland, U.S. Department of Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm, and fellow climate mayors, Mayor Levine Cava will participate in several forums and roundtable discussions with climate leaders from around the world.
Throughout the different panels and events, Mayor Levine Cava will talk about Miami-Dade County’s accomplishments in resilience and climate action, and will highlight the new Priority Climate Action Plan (PCAP) that the administration submitted this month on behalf of the four-county Southeast Florida Regional Climate Change Compact partnership made up of Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Monroe counties. The PCAP serves as a regional greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) reduction plan, which will reduce air pollution, clean our air, and provide important benefits to communities in the region, such as reduced energy bills, improved public health outcomes, and more jobs.
For one-on-one interviews with Mayor Levine Cava, please email [email protected].
