MDFR Inaugurates Engine 69 with a Traditional Truck Push-In Ceremony
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR) invites the community to attend as we “push” Engine 69 into service during a traditional truck push-in ceremony at our Doral North Station #69 located at 11151 NW 74 Street on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 10 a.m. Engine 69, operating 24/7 alongside Rescue 69, Battalion 11, and two specialty technical rescue units, will be equipped with a paramedic officer and three paramedic firefighters to enhance fire rescue services in the City of Doral.
“Pushing Engine 69 into service marks a significant milestone for our department and the City of Doral,” said Fire Chief Ray Jadallah. “With its advanced capabilities, this new engine will assist in continuing to provide the highest level of life-saving care, enhancing our emergency response, while ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone in the community we serve.” The push-in ceremony is a fire service tradition dating back to the late 1800s, symbolizing community involvement in enhancing local firefighting capabilities.
Please confirm attendance by email along with the names of crew members who will be attending the Truck Push-In Ceremony at Station #69 to [email protected].
