Man arrested for a shooting that left one man dead and injured a juvenile.
MIAMI-DADE ( November 21, 2024 )–
Miami-Dade Police Department's Homicide Bureau detectives arrested Louis Edward Harris Jr., responsible for the death of Brendan Roger Francois.
According to investigators, on November 18th, 2024, at approximately 8:53 p.m., officers from the Homestead Police Department responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the area of 653 SW 8 St. When officers arrived, they located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound(s), and a 16-year-old female who suffered a graze wound. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and treated the female juvenile on scene, and pronounced the male victim deceased. Through investigative means, detectives located Louis Edward Harris. He was taken into custody and charged accordingly.
