Samantha Choon [email protected] 305-471-1900 Subject Arrested for Practicing Medicine without a License Detectives from Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office (MDSO), Organized Crime Bureau (OCB), Medical Crimes Squad (MCS) arrested Mr. Wilson Munoz Suarez for Practicing Medicine without a License, Battery on an Elderly Person, Domestic Battery, and Resisting without Violence. Detectives from Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office (MDSO), Organized Crime Bureau (OCB), Medical Crimes Squad (MCS) arrested Mr. Wilson Munoz Suarez for Practicing Medicine without a License, Battery on an Elderly Person, Domestic Battery, and Resisting without Violence. According to investigators, Mr. Munoz Suarez presented himself as a licensed cosmetic surgeon on a social media platform.  The victim reached out to Mr. Munoz Suarez for a consultation and elected to have a surgical procedure done by Mr. Munoz Suarez.  The victim had concerns after the procedure, but was unable to reach Mr. Munoz Suarez, which eventually led to the victim discovering that Mr. Munoz Suarez is not a licensed doctor. MCS detectives contacted The Florida Department of Health (DOH), and it was confirmed that Mr. Munoz Suarez does not hold any medical licensing in the State of Florida. On Wednesday, March 26, 2025, MCS detectives went to Mr. Munoz Suarez’s residence to arrest him.  Mr. Munoz Suarez resisted being taken into custody by grabbing his elderly mother by the neck and standing behind her, using her as a shield.  Mr. Munoz Suarez was taken into custody and charged accordingly.
