The Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office (MDSO), Homicide Bureau has arrested an individual in connection to a fatal shooting. On August 29, 2021, uniformed officers from the then Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD) responded to reports of a person shot, and upon arrival, they discovered an adult male with apparent gunshot wounds.  Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR) responded and determined he was deceased on the scene. The preliminary investigation revealed the victim attended a family member's birthday party celebration on a private party bus.  Upon returning, the victim and the other occupants stepped out of the bus and made their way to their vehicles, when shots were fired, striking the victim without provocation.
