Peguero Rivera [email protected] 305-471-1900 DUI Enforcement (Operation Safe Summer) On Saturday, June 7, 2025, the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office (MDSO), Special Patrol Bureau, Motorcycle Unit, as part of “Operation Safe Summer” will be deploying numerous deputies throughout Miami-Dade County to conduct strict enforcement of DUI violations and other hazardous traffic violations observed. Also, expect to see MDSO Motorcycle Deputies on State Roads 826/836, and Florida Turnpike on weekend mornings conducting zero tolerance traffic stops. Numerous “Operation Safe Summer” details will continue through Friday, August 15, 2025. On Saturday, June 7, 2025, the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office (MDSO), Special Patrol Bureau, Motorcycle Unit, as part of “Operation Safe Summer” will be deploying numerous deputies throughout Miami-Dade County to conduct strict enforcement of DUI violations and other hazardous traffic violations observed.  Also, expect to see MDSO Motorcycle Deputies on State Roads 826/836, and Florida Turnpike on weekend mornings conducting zero tolerance traffic stops.  Numerous “Operation Safe Summer” details will continue through Friday, August 15, 2025.  Drunk driving is a 100% preventable.  2 out of 3 people will be impacted by drunk driving in their lifetime.  Every 45 minutes someone is killed in a drunk driving crash.
