Barricaded Subject Arrested
MIAMI-DADE ( June 07, 2025 )–
On Saturday, June 7, 2025, at approximately 2:00 p.m., Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office (MDSO) Midwest District deputies responded to the area of SW 20 Street and SW 122 Ave in regard to a battery.
Once on scene, deputies observed that a father had battered his three children. The father also barricaded himself inside of his apartment.
One child was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition. The other two children were treated on scene by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and were released to their mother.
MDSO Special Response Team (SRT) responded to the scene and took the subject into custody.
MDSO Special Victims Bureau detectives responded and assumed the investigation.
The subject was arrested and charged accordingly.
