Samantha Choon [email protected] 305-471-1900 Arrest Made in Fatal Hit-And-Run On Sunday, June 29, 2025, at approximately 3:37 a.m., Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office (MDSO) deputies responded to the area of NW 7th Avenue and NW 115th Street regarding a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. On Sunday, June 29, 2025, at approximately 3:37 a.m., Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office (MDSO) deputies responded to the area of NW 7th Avenue and NW 115th Street regarding a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.  Upon arrival, deputies observed the victim laying on the roadway, as well as an abandoned vehicle nearby.  Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased. Through investigative means, MDSO Traffic Homicide detectives determined that Mr. Isaleb Anofils was the driver of the vehicle that was left on scene.  Mr. Anofils struck the victim and then fled the scene on foot, failing to render aid to the victim or call 9-1-1 to report the crash. MIAMI-DADE ( July 10, 2025 )–
