Scheduled night closures for NW 22 Avenue bridge repair work
The Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) will continue essential repair work on the NW 22nd Avenue bridge over the Miami River during night hours, starting September 14, 2025.
To ensure the safety of both work crews and drivers, periodic nighttime lane closures will take place from Sunday through Thursday, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., as needed. These closures will remain in effect until the project’s completion at the end of the year.
During construction, traffic will be detoured to NW 27th Avenue. Clear detour signage will be posted to guide drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians.
DTPW reminds all drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians to follow posted detours signs and allow for extra time when traveling through the area.
Follow DTPW on social media on X, Facebook, and Instagram.
