Samantha Choon [email protected] 305-471-1900 MDSO Investigating Northside Shooting Leaving One Man Dead On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, shortly before 6:00 AM, Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office (MDSO) deputies responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the area of 27th Avenue and NW 45th Street. On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, shortly before 6:00 AM, Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office (MDSO) deputies responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the area of 27th Avenue and NW 45th Street.   Upon arrival, deputies discovered an adult male with apparent gunshot wounds.  Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR) responded and transported him to a local hospital in critical condition, where despite lifesaving efforts, he succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
