Miami-Dade Animal Services and Miami-Dade Public Library System kick off 5th annual “Presents for Pets” holiday donation drive
The Miami-Dade County Animal Services Department, in partnership with the Miami-Dade Public Library System, is spreading holiday cheer once again with the 5th annual “Presents for Pets” donation drive, now underway through December 31, 2025. This heartwarming community tradition invites residents to make the holidays brighter for shelter pets by donating new toys, treats, blankets, and other comfort items.
As the season of giving begins, our shelter dogs and cats are hoping to find not just their forever homes, but also a little holiday magic along the way. Each donation helps create a more comfortable and joyful stay for pets in our care while they wait to be adopted.
“This campaign has become one of our favorite holiday traditions,” said Annette Jose, Director of Miami-Dade County Animal Services. “Even the smallest gift — a cozy blanket, a chew toy, or a bag of treats — brings so much joy and comfort to our shelter pets and reminds them that they are loved.”
Donation bins will be available at the Animal Services Pet Adoption and Protection Center at 3599 NW 79 Avenue, Doral, FL 33122, the Stephen P. Clark Government Center at 111 NW 1st Street, Miami, FL 33128, and at select Miami-Dade Public Library System branches throughout the county.
