Miami-Dade County - On Friday, December 19, 2025, at 10 a.m., the Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department will break ground on a park improvement at San Jacinto Park, located at 4435 SW 15th Terrace, Miami, FL.  Key elements of the project include a new playground that features modern play equipment such as a custom swing, a play structure with rock climbers, and nature education panels. The project also includes a new concrete pathway and the installation of pavers at all park entrances, supporting improved drainage and long-term site sustainability. Landscape enhancements include new site furnishings, such as benches, trash receptacles, bike racks, and domino tables, which will support passive recreation and community gathering. The project reflects Miami-Dade County’s continued commitment to providing high-quality neighborhood parks.
