Miami-Dade County celebrates grand opening of Metro Grande III
On February 27, 2026, Miami-Dade County will celebrate the grand opening of Metro Grande III, a new affordable housing development by Cornerstone Group. Located at 1015 West 19th Street, Hialeah, FL 33010, the development features 84 apartment homes for families earning 30% to 70% of the Area Median Income (AMI).
Metro Grande III represents the third phase of the Metro Grande development and reflects the Cornerstone Group’s continued commitment to providing high-quality affordable housing. The smoke-free community offers a range of amenities, including controlled-access buildings, on-site management, a business center, fitness studio, conference room, clubhouse, electric vehicle charging stations, 24-hour on-site maintenance, resident and guest parking, proximity to a Metrorail station, and Wi-Fi in all common areas.
Apartment interiors include smoke-free living, electronic keyless entry, impact-resistant windows, energy-efficient stainless-steel appliances, quartz countertops, dishwashers, refrigerators with ice makers, kitchen pantries, ceramic bath surrounds, vinyl wood plank flooring, roller blinds, central air conditioning, high-speed internet access, cable-ready connections, grab bar accommodations, built-in microwaves, washers and dryers, ceiling fans, garbage disposals, and ample closet space. Select units feature private balconies. In accordance with the property’s pet policy, only service animals are permitted.
The three-phase Metro Grande development also includes community-serving amenities such as an on-site pharmacy and a food hall for the residents.
To support the development of Metro Grande III, Cornerstone Group received more than $11.4 million in funding from Miami-Dade County, including $5.393 million in General Obligation Bond (GOB) funds, $2 million in Documentary Stamp Surtax funds, $3.175 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding, and $850,000 in Redeployed Documentary Stamp Surtax funds.
