Miami-Dade County celebrates the ribbon cutting of Brisas del Sol Apartments
On March 16, 2026, Miami-Dade County will celebrate the ribbon cutting of Brisas del Sol Apartments, a new mixed-income affordable and workforce housing development by Related Urban Development Group.
Located at 154 SW 17th Street in Miami’s vibrant Little Havana neighborhood, the three-story community offers residents the ability to live, work, and play within walking distance of neighborhood amenities. The property is ideally situated just minutes from Coconut Grove, Downtown Miami, Brickell Avenue, Miami’s renowned beaches, and Miami International Airport.
Brisas del Sol features 146 apartment homes serving households earning between 30% and 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI), supporting Miami-Dade County’s ongoing need for high-quality affordable and workforce housing.
Designed as an anchor for the surrounding residential community, the mid-rise development offers modern architecture, efficient floor plans, and thoughtfully curated amenities. Apartment homes range from one to three bedrooms and include luxury vinyl tile flooring, high-quality wood cabinetry, granite countertops, and wireless internet access. Residents also benefit from convenient on-site laundry facilities, access-controlled entry, and pedestrian-friendly walkways.
Community amenities include a fitness center, multipurpose room, work nook, mail and package room, two resident elevators, key fob access for building and amenity areas, and pet-friendly accommodations.
To support the development of Brisas del Sol, Related Urban Development Group received $2 million in Documentary Stamp Surtax funding and $1.5 million in Housing Development Action Grants (HODAG) from Miami-Dade County.
