Shooting Investigation
MIAMI-DADE ( April 16, 2026 )–
The Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office (MDSO) is investigating a shooting that left 3 injured.
According to investigators, on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at approximately 2:09 p.m., MDSO's Northside District responded to the area of NW 21st Avenue and NW 76 Street in reference to multiple 911 calls of shots being fired. Upon the deputies arrival, they located 3 individuals suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and transported three individuals to a nearby hospital, two of which were in critical condition, and one was stable. One individual who was not injured, was detained on scene.
Update #1: The individuals that suffered gunshot wounds have been identified below. They remain hospitalized, as detectives still actively work the case. The individual that was detained has been released and no formal charges have been filed. The investigation continues.
