Miami-Dade County to announce transportation plan for FIFA World Cup 2026™ and FIFA Fan Festival™
Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava and Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works Director and CEO Stacy L. Miller P.E., alongside key transportation partners, will unveil Miami-Dade County’s mobility plan for FIFA World Cup 2026™ and the FIFA Fan Festival™ in Downtown Miami during a press conference on Monday, June 1, 2026.
The event will take place at the Golden Glades Intermodal Station, one of four official match day transportation hubs that will help move fans throughout the tournament.
The event will provide a first look at how fans can use transit, free Game Day shuttles for verified ticket holders, and regional transportation connections to get to and from FIFA World Cup 2026™ matches and Fan Fest as easily and safely as possible.
Regional mobility partners including Tri-Rail, Brightline, and Uber have been invited to participate as part of the county’s transportation coordination efforts. Representatives from the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office have also been invited to attend.
Speakers are expected to include:
- Daniella Levine Cava, Mayor, Miami-Dade County
- Stacy L. Miller, P.E., Director and CEO, Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works
- Rodney Barreto, Co-Chair FIFA Miami World Cup Host Committee
