On Tuesday, March 17, 2026, Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office (MDSO), Organized Crimes Bureau detectives conducted an investigation into an unlicensed post-cosmetic surgery assisted living facility (ALF).  Detectives executed a search warrant on a residential property in the area of SW 215 Terrace and SW 132 Court.  The search revealed eight post-operative patients in the unlicensed ALF.  Further investigation revealed that the subject, Ms. Kerri Smith, has received more than $200,000.00 from unknowing victims since October 2025.
