Health Emergency Life Protection (HELP) Training Course

The two-hour HELP workshop will teach participants to HELP save a life by learning how to recognize the most common life-threatening emergencies and begin medical care until more advanced care providers arrive. HELP teaches the lifesaving skills of adult and pediatric hands-only cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) operation, early stroke recognition, stopping the bleed, and blocked airway emergencies for adults, children, and infants. This course includes an interactive lecture and hands-on skills education to make it informational, applicable and enjoyable for all attendees.

Note: This class provides an American Heart Association Family & Friends CPR certificate, and a course completion certificate from Miami-Dade Fire Rescue. This course does not provide a Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Certification, as may be required for certain jobs or other activities. This is an awareness level course, not a certification level course.
