Older Adults Home Modification Grant Program

The Older Adults Home Modification grant program (OAHMP) offers free high-impact, cost-effective home modifications to qualifying older adults to help them stay safely in their homes as they age. By reducing home hazards and focusing on safety improvements and accessibility features, OAHMP enables vulnerable seniors to age independently in their homes and improves their overall quality of life.

The program provides minor, non-structural home modifications for eligible homeowners and tenants aged 62 and older. Typical modifications include installation of grab bars, ramps, improved lighting, non-slip florin, handrails, level-style door handles and similar accessibility improvements.
