Kindergarten through 8th grade students will need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian when applying for a K-12 EASY Card in person. If the student attends school in Miami-Dade County but his or her parent or legal guardian live in another county, the student can still apply for the K-12 EASY Card. Full time college, university, and vocational/technical school students may purchase a discounted 1-Month College Mobile Pass for ($56.25). The College Mobile Pass is valid for unlimited travel on Metrobus and Metrorail, as Metromover is free for everyone. The pass is calendar specific and expires at the end of each month.  Students who take Metrorail may also purchase a monthly Metrorail parking permit for $11.25, with the purchase of the College Mobile Pass. Miami-Dade County employees and employees of the four Constitutional Offices (Sheriff’s Office, Supervisor of Elections, Office of the Tax Collector, and Clerk of the Court and Comptroller) can get discounted monthly rates and receive pre-tax savings by enrolling in the Monthly Pass Payroll Deduction program.   Employees of the Property Appraiser of Miami-Dade County qualify for a discounted monthly rate but cannot enroll in the Miami-Dade County Monthly Pass Payroll Deduction program. Employees must contact the Property Appraiser’s Human Resources department for assistance. Ride Metrobus and Metrorail anytime using the County Employee Discount (Corporate) EASY Card. The County Employee Discount Program uses the black Corporate EASY Card - not the regular EASY Card. Custom Lost, stolen or damaged EASY Card Replace your lost, stolen or damaged EASY Card at any Transit Service Center, Sales Outlet or online at the TransitStore.  The replacement fee is $2. EASY Card Dormancy Disclosure EASY Cards have a 20-year lifespan; however, if an EASY Card has been inactive for 12 continuous months (it has not been used for transit or reloaded), the card will be systematically disabled. To ensure continuous service, please ensure the EASY Card is used within 12 months of purchase, and at least once every 12 months thereafter.
