For Development Projects, the Utility Development Division offers a plans review service through Trimble. This allows registered customers to submit plans for review and approval in electronic file formats. Reviews, markups, and changes can be exchanged electronically, improving efficiency. Any individual, group, company, municipality, or organization that has registered is able to submit electronic plans and As-Builts for review and approval by WASD staff. Plans Review Service This service allows customers to transfer computer files via Trimble to the Utilities Development Division of the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department. The files are water or sewer plans, shop drawings, field changes and as-builts that require review and approval. General Terms The customer agrees to indemnify Miami-Dade County, its Officers, Officials and Employees and hold Miami-Dade County, its Officers, Officials, and Employees harmless from all claims, inuries, losses, damages, costs and expenses (including without limitation, attorney fees) arising out of use of this service. Acceptance of General Terms By applying to become a Trimble Plans Review Service customer, you accept the above General Terms and Conditions of Use (provided below). Do not apply if you do not agree with the Terms and Conditions of Use. Conditions of Use The website, pages, databases and server are solely the property of Miami-Dade County. All files transferred via Trimble will be restricted to business use only. No personal use is allowed. Any inappropriate use will result in termination of the customer’s access to this service. Miami-Dade County will not be responsible for loss of data due to any circumstance including technology failure or failure from any other cause. These include, but are not limited to: viruses, server/web failures and connection failures. Customer Responsibility The customer is responsible for retaining copies of their files for their own records. Files may inadvertently or otherwise, be altered. Custom (New) Expedite Concurrent Plans Review Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) and our partner agencies (RER-DERM, FDOH, MDFR, Coral Gables Fire) are pleased to announce the launch of the 063.5 - Expedite Concurrent Review Process in Trimble. Starting on October 7, 2024, our customers can submit and request the Expedite Plans Review service through the eBuilder System with a shorter review time frame from all applicable departments involved. What You Need to Know Fees: Each participant agency charges different fees to expedite the plan review process. Expedite fees are in addition to regular process fees. Concurrent Review Shot Clock: Once the concurrent review starts, the due date for each review will be set at five (5) business days for all participating agencies. How to Request it: The Engineer of Record (EOR) will start the 063-Concurrent Plans Review Process (CPR) and must select the "Expedite" option. NOTE: The expedited request will be initiated depending on the agency's availability. Once the expedited process is initiated, it will remain in expedited review cycles until approval.
