Baby Stroller Parking
Baby stroller parking spaces must be located near the store entrance.
- All commercial places have to meet the requirement
- If less than 100 spaces, the site is exempt from providing stroller parking, based on Miami-Dade County Code Section 33-122.2
- A Zoning Improvement Permit is required to correct violations, based on Miami-Dade County Code Section 19-5.3
- Less than 100 parking spaces - 0 stroller spaces required
- 101 to 500 parking spaces - Two stroller spaces required
- 501 to 1,000 parking spaces - Three stroller spaces required
- More than 1,000 parking spaces - One stroller space per additional 500 parking spaces required
Commercial Property Compliance
These regulations apply to business, commercial and industrial properties. Enforcement is done on a complaint basis.
Merchants and business property owners will receive a courtesy warning to correct violations. Civil citations will be issued after non-compliance or in cases where it’s a repeat offense.
