Forms and Certificates

The Miami-Dade Historic Preservation Ordinance is designed to protect, enhance and perpetuate properties of historical, cultural, archeological, paleontological, aesthetic and architectural merit.

The regular Certificate of Appropriateness or Certificate to Dig can be approved by OHP staff. Special Certificates of Appropriateness require a Public Hearing in front of the Miami-Dade County Historic Preservation Board.
