We’re inviting teachers, scout groups, and after-school programs to participate in our sticker design contest for a chance to win a free field trip to Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. Winners will receive tickets for up to 30 students to Vizcaya Museum and Gardens and a family membership.
The Miami-Dade County Department of Environmental Resources Management (DERM) and Vizcaya Museum and Gardens invite all Miami-Dade County elementary school students to participate in the sticker design contest for Baynanza 2026 by creating an original design that portrays Biscayne Bay and its unique natural environment. Each year during the annual tradition of Baynanza, thousands of commemorative stickers are distributed for free to volunteers and partner organizations in celebration of the beauty and importance of this unique natural resource. Three winners will be selected, and the first-place winner will have the honor of seeing their design featured as the Baynanza 2026 commemorative sticker.
First Place
Winning design will be printed on commemorative stickers for countywide distribution
Winning student and their school/organization will receive a field trip for 30 students to Vizcaya Museum and Gardens with free admission and transportation for the current school year. The teacher will also receive a Vizcaya membership
Winning student will be recognized at Baynanza 2026 Kickoff reception at Vizcaya and acknowledged at Baynanza VIP site on Saturday, April 11. Student will receive a Vizcaya family membership and a framed award
Second Place
Second-place student will be recognized at Baynanza Kickoff reception at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens and will receive a Vizcaya Family membership and a framed award
Third Place
Third-place student will be recognized at Baynanza Kickoff reception at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens and will receive four family passes to Vizcaya and a framed award.

Design must depict the unique natural environment of Biscayne Bay
Design must be an original piece and hand-rendered
Design must be 5 x 5 inches on white unlined paper
Design can be created in full color or black and white
Design can be created using various media, including pencils, colored pencils, pen, crayon or markers
Design must be unframed, unmounted and without matte

All entries must be received by the contest closing date of Friday, Dec. 5, 2025 and cannot simply be postmarked with this date
Entries must be labeled with the following information:
Student’s name
School, organization or program
Grade level
Name of teacher, organization leader or Program leader
Email of teacher, organization leader or Program leader
Entries can be sent by United States Postal Service mail to the address below:

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens will receive, store and manage the entries submitted. Artwork will not be returned. By submitting an entry to the contest, participants understand that entries might be used by Vizcaya and/or the Miami-Dade County Department of Environmental Resources Management (DERM) for promotional and marketing purposes, even if the designs have not been selected among the top three entries.
