How can I obtain a duplicate copy of my vehicle registration?

If you lost your vehicle registration or would like to obtain a duplicate registration:

Miami Dade County Tax Collector's Office (Downtown)
200 NW 2nd Ave
Miami, Florida 33128
Or visit any privately owned Tag Agency in Miami-Dade. A convenience fee will be charged.
Online
Visit the State’s website at Go Renew
You will need:
- Social security number
- Driver license number
- MasterCard, or Visa
Select Duplicate Registration
A receipt number will be provided as proof that the transaction request was completed. The duplicate registration will be mailed within 7-10 business days.
