Biscayne Bay Task Force

The Biscayne Bay Task Force (BBTF) is made up of nine members who will review relevant data, prior studies and reports related to Biscayne Bay and determine how various issues may affect residents and property owners.

The BBTF will prepare a written report with recommendations to the Mayor and the Board of County Commissioners identifying problem areas, prioritizing projects and providing recommendations regarding state and federal legislation, activities and appropriations.

The BBTF was created by the Board of County Commissioners on Feb. 5, 2019, through resolution number R-165-19.

Next meeting:

The Miami Dade County Biscayne Bay Task Force has sunset as of August 4, 2020 and is no longer meeting. The Task Force submitted a final report to the Board of County Commissioners which is available for review.
