You should select Save as Draft periodically while filling out your application. The system times out after 15 minutes of inactivity and data may be lost if your session is interrupted
Click Next after you have completed each section
Click Submit to submit your application
Log out, or select Careers to search for and apply for any additional job openings.
You can update your profile at any time by logging on to the system and accessing your account. There are options which allow you to edit any and all information fields in your profile.
If you created an applicant profile before June 15, please register and create a new profile to apply for available positions. Miami-Dade County implemented a new system and unfortunately, applicant profiles that were created in the previous platform did not transfer to the new system. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Yes, you may update your profile and attach your resume without applying for a job. Visit the Careers page and select Apply Now without a Job.

Once you’ve had your interview, the hiring department will reach out via email or letter to inform you of the outcome. Please note, this process can take up to 30 days.

You can visit the site as often as you'd like to search for new positions, or you can use the job agent tool to help make your search a lot easier. Provide the specific parameters for the type of job openings that interest you, including location, job title, level of expertise and more, and you'll receive an email alert whenever an opening that meets your criteria has been posted to the site.

Interviews are extended to those applicants best-qualified for the position, based upon the information provided in the application.
