Michelle Oyola McGovern

Michelle Oyola McGovern is dedicated to shaping the future as Vice President of Government and Regulatory Affairs at Comcast. In her current role, she spearheads the Government Affairs team for the Florida Region, forging invaluable partnerships with local government officials and community leaders across Comcast's expansive service area in Florida, along with select regions of southeastern Georgia and Alabama. 

Before joining Comcast, Michelle Oyola McGovern served as the Government Affairs Director at Baptist Health South Florida, where she made significant contributions to the healthcare landscape. Her career also includes a pivotal role as State Director to United States Senator, Bill Nelson. 

Michelle is a dynamic leader who continues to make an impact in her community. She holds leadership positions on several boards, including serving as Chair of the Palm Beach County Commission on Women, a trustee on the Pace Center for Girls Board, a newly appointed member of The Orange Bowl Committee, and a compassionate advocate for The Homeless Coalition of Palm Beach County. Additionally, she plays an instrumental role as an Executive Board member of the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County. 

As a true Florida native and a graduate of Florida Atlantic University, Michelle Oyola McGovern's commitment to her home state is unwavering. Together with her husband, Wellington Councilman John McGovern, she is raising two remarkable daughters while continuing her mission to make a positive impact on her community.
