Spend the day at the Paralympic Experience
February 19, 2020 — Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces

Individuals with physical and visual disabilities and their parents, friends and supporters are invited to come out to the Paralympic Experience at Tropical Park on Saturday, March 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Miami-Dade Parks, as a paralympic sport club, presents the event in conjunction with several local Paralympic partners. Admission is free and open to the public.

This program provides a unique opportunity for people to learn about and try a variety of adapted sports activities, meet and be inspired by the athletes and pick up information on how to get involved in local programs. The day will feature wheelchair basketball, archery, boccia, wheelchair tennis and beep baseball. Lunch will be provided.

Adapted sports participants are encouraged to register in advance of the event for an estimated number of participants. For more information, contact Jody Cox at 305-234-1673 or [email protected].
