MDEAT postpones HAP RFQ process due to COVID-19
March 20, 2020 — Economic Advocacy Trust

Miami-Dade County is committed to ensuring the safety of its community in response to COVID-19, and thus has cancelled all public meetings until further notice. This decree extends to Miami-Dade Economic Advocacy Trust (MDEAT) and its Homeownership Assistance Program (HAP) Request for Qualification (RFQ) process. Thus, MDEAT HAP 2020 RFQ Selection Committee Meeting to score HAP 2020 RFQ application submissions is postponed until further notice. The current HAP certified industry professionals will continue to offer HAP assistance under the existing guidelines until the RFQ process recommences and is finalized. Once Miami-Dade County resumes public meetings, MDEAT will issue an updated HAP RFQ Schedule reflecting a new selection committee review period and selection completion date.

Please know that MDEAT postponement of the HAP RFQ process is NOT an extension of the HAP 2020 RFQ submission process and no new application submissions are permitted. We extend our gratitude to those industry professionals who responded to the HAP RFQ and ask that you remain patient as Miami-Dade County continues its COVID-19 response efforts.
