C.A.V.A. plan for a better-connected Miami-Dade

Mayor Daniella Levine Cava has made advocating for safer streets and better public transit a key priority for her new administration.
Since taking office, great progress has been made on transportation and mobility, starting by getting control of our urban landscape. Interim solutions have been implemented for bus-only lanes and separated bike lanes through the creation of new urban design standards and modifying regulations for added flexibility.
She is proud to work alongside the transit advocates at Transit Alliance on key initiatives to build a better-connected Miami-Dade, outlined through the C.A.V.A. Plan:
C – Commit to implementing the Better Bus Network in 2021
A – Adopt dedicated bus lanes
V – Verify SMART Plan
A – Advance pedestrians as priority
