Mayor Daniella Levine Cava to participate in Miami Book Fair

This weekend, Mayor Daniella Levine Cava will participate in the 38th Annual Miami Book Fair at Miami-Dade College.
“The Book Fair is one of my favorite events of the year, and I’m extremely proud of our community’s sacrifice and effort to tackle the pandemic so that we can enjoy the Fair together in person,” said Mayor Levine Cava. “I invite everyone to enjoy all the activities the Fair has to offer with your friends and family, and please remember to take care of yourselves and your loved ones by wearing a mask when in large crowds, sanitizing your hands, and of course, getting vaccinated!”

Friday, November 19 at 6 p.m.
Mayor to provide welcoming remarks at the Street Fair Downtown Happy Hour with Miami Dade College President Madeline Pumariega, Wolfson Campus, The Porch, Street Fair Kickoff/Downtown Happy Hour
Saturday, November 20 at 10 a.m.
Mayor to introduce authors before book event: Cynthia Barnett on The Sound of the Sea: Seashells and the Fate of the Oceans, and Sandy Sheehy on Imperiled Reef: The Fascinating, Fragile Life of a Caribbean Wonder, Wolfson Campus, Building 2, Floor 1, Room 2106
Saturday, November 20 at 11:30 a.m.
Mayor will read “We Are Water Protectors” by Carole Lindstrom at the Children's Alley Lounge, Wolfson Campus.
