The CITT Ambassador Program Grows to 100 Volunteers

In just six-months, The Citizens' Independent Transportation Trust (CITT) reached 100 volunteers on its CITT Ambassador Program.

As part of the program, CITT Ambassadors, who are frequent transit riders, fill out surveys that can be accessed via a mobile app. The information captured is then compiled and shared with Miami-Dade County’s Department of Transportation and Public Works, and soon will be expanded to be shared with local municipalities and on-demand service companies – all in an effort to enhance the transit experience.

These are volunteer, unpaid positions. However, CITT Ambassadors receive mobility rewards such as Miami-Dade Transit passes, discounts for ride-share bike rentals, and more.

CITT Ambassadors are committed to helping improve transit services in Miami-Dade County. This role offers the opportunity to share regular feedback about transit experiences and participate in focus groups in exchange for rewards. There is no requirement to interact with other riders or transit personnel.
