Mayor Daniella Levine Cava is hosting the first official "Imagine A Day Without Water" community festival on Oct. 23.
The family-friendly event will take place at the Deering Estate and is aimed at building awareness around the value of water for residents, businesses, and Miami-Dade’s tourism industry.
Festival attendees will enjoy educational exhibits and live entertainment highlighting the importance of Miami-Dade's critical water infrastructure and water resources like Biscayne Bay.
The festival will start at noon and include free admission to the Deering Estate until 2 p.m.
