7-Day Pass Giveaway for new riders

DPTW is giving away free EASY Cards preloaded with a 7-Day Pass to new transit riders until January 8, while passes last. An EASY Card costs $2, and the 7-Day Pass is valued at $29.25.

The 7-Day Pass is valid for seven consecutive days and is activated upon the first day of use on the system. It allows for unlimited rides on DTPW Metrorail and Metrobus.

DTPW is coordinating with local businesses and organizations in the community to help distribute the passes. Please check back periodically for updates on additional distribution partners and visit their websites or contact them directly for more information. 

For more information regarding how Miami-Dade Transit fare products, please call the EASY Card Financial Center at 786-469-5151, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., except county observed holidays.

• Educational Federal Credit Union - Miami-Dade College students can get their free pass through the Single Stop Program

1. Download the GO Miami-Dade Transit App
2. Login or create an account
3. Select "Buy" 7-Day Mobile Pass ($29.25) and add to cart
4. At checkout, use promo code: TRYTRANSIT
5. Select "Proceed to Pay" and submit; you will not be charged
6. At Metrorail stations, scan the free pass’s QR Code at the fare gate with a scanner
7. When boarding Metrobus, show the free pass’s QR Code to the bus operator
