Join the Migrant Farmworker Historic Context Study community meeting on May 10

The Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources’ Office of Historic Preservation launched the Migrant Farmworker Historic Context Study. The study welcomes stories from the migrant farmworkers and explores sites such as agricultural resources, houses, churches, businesses, schools, community centers, parks, cemeteries and gathering places established to meet the needs of the migrant farmworker community countywide.
In February, the Office of Historic Preservation will kick off community meetings as an outreach tool to connect with the migrant farmworker community and to help share their stories.
Upcoming Meeting
Date: Saturday, May 10
Time: Noon to 4 p.m.
Address: Everglades Farm Village
19308 SW 380 St.
Florida City, FL. 33034
