Stay prepared with our new Weather Ready digital platform, offering residents a centralized online hub to prepare for, respond to and recover from local environmental threats.This platform serves as a comprehensive resource for Miami-Dade County's primary weather challenges, featuring dedicated safety guides for hurricane season, extreme heat hazards and rainy season flooding.

The Weather Ready platform is designed for universal access, allowing community members to review critical data from home computers, mobile devices or through the ReadyMDC smartphone application. Beyond hazard-specific information, the website connects users to the 311 Contact Center for problem reporting, text alert sign-ups for real-time emergency notifications and community involvement initiatives like the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and Communities Organized to Respond in Emergencies (CORE).

Residents and local business owners without internet access can access this information by visiting any Miami-Dade Public Library System branch.
