On Wednesday, July 15, Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava hosted a press conference to present the proposed County budget for Fiscal Year 2026-2027.
The proposed balanced budget keeps County operating property tax rates flat while protecting core services, prioritizing investments in public safety, parks, and transportation while maintaining funding for libraries, community-based organizations, and arts and cultural programs, while preparing for the economic realities of slowing revenue growth and rising service costs.
