Legal Advertising Online

All public notices and advertisements required by Federal and State Statutes or County Code are required to be placed on the Miami-Dade web portal prior to, or simultaneously to, being published in (newspaper) print.

Newsletter Policy

  • Each department is now required, as per Resolution 1381-09, to post legal notices online in addition to publishing them in print media. Notices posted on this portal are considered courtesy notifications only. They supplement, but do not replace, legally-required public notifications for print advertising
  • Departments that advertise legal notices in the Daily Business Review (DBR) may continue to do so directly. The County has identified the Daily Business Review as the publication of record for all legal advertisements, thereby meeting all requirements for "general circulation" mandated advertisements. As such, DBR is to be used for all legal advertisements that are required to be published in a newspaper of general circulation (unless otherwise stated by County, Federal or State Statutes)
  • Legal notices that require placement in a newspaper of "largest", "widest" or "largest general" circulation must be advertised in the Miami Herald
